Description:
We are seeking a Material Expeditor to join our team in Mobile, AL. The Material Expeditor will be responsible for ensuring that all materials required for production are available and delivered on time. The ideal candidate will have experience in supply chain management and be able to communicate effectively with suppliers and internal teams.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials
- Track and monitor inventory levels to ensure adequate supply
- Communicate delays or issues with suppliers and internal teams
- Ensure all materials are properly labeled and stored
- Assist with the preparation of materials for delivery
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to analyze many different data from multiple sources
- Experience in supply chain management or related field
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
